President's Message

Welcome to the Texoma Youth Football League

We are proud to be one of the most competitive and respected youth football organizations in North Texas, serving over 1,000 student-athletes across 12 participating towns: Anna, Ardmore, Celina, Denison, Gunter, Melissa, McKinney, Paris, Princeton, Prosper, Sherman, and Van Alstyne. Our league is open to players ages 5–12 (grades K–6) and is built on a foundation of teamwork, sportsmanship, and youth development.

Founded in June 2003 with six original towns—Bells, Blue Ridge, Celina, Melissa, Pottsboro, and S&S—TYFL began with a single combined 3rd/4th grade division. Over the years, we’ve grown into a thriving league known for high-level competition and community pride. While wins and records are exciting, our greatest success comes from preparing young athletes for the future, both on and off the field.

Since 2014, TYFL has proudly partnered with USA Football’s Heads Up Program, ensuring that all league coaches are certified in the latest safety and training protocols. Heads Up Tackling teaches proper technique with a step-by-step approach, focusing on reducing helmet contact and protecting our players through proven fundamentals.

We are incredibly fortunate to have the support of our board members, volunteers, sponsors, and school district partners, who help provide the best fields, equipment, and facilities in the state. Your dedication is what keeps TYFL moving forward.
